BAD Squash Doubles Tournament

Thanks to everyone for entering /contributing, making this a great tournament this last weekend.a report and a few snaps will go up soon.
A big thanks to David Jenkins who organised the draw for us, and a thanks to David Lloyd for the Club facilities and courts.

That's all the Entries folks, there is always the possibility somone may pull out so if you haven't entered and wanted to, let me know and I will pop you on as a reserve, the draw will be on this site by the end of the this week.

Note to all Entrants,

We have decided to amend the entry fee to £8 per main event per person, and a further just £2 per person for each other event entered. One T-shirt will be issued in this instance.

So for a tenner you can enter two events - why not look for a partner in the Mixed, or contact me if you are a Lady to see if we can pair you up with any of the existing entrants as unfortunately we only have 2 Ladies pairs entered to date, which would cast a doubt over the running of this event

Go have a bash with the Thornbury boys then, they certainley would appreciate your brand of humour on the court Steve,

Browner, Osborne is spelt with no UUUUUUUUU in it.  Im playing my bro sometime over this weekend. The comedy duo are getting ready for some serious action.

Ivor, following our tel.conversation the other day, It would be a minor disaster for lots of reasons if the troops from Thornbury miss out on the Doubles due to a weekends beer bash at the Nationals, look, its going to be very difficult to rearrange these dates as the weekend before- the boys from Yate are off too a christening- wetting the baby's head etc, and the week after - Sarah's off to see her Gran! -I'm cutting the grass the week after that! if you boys have booked up already we're going to have to live with the fact we wont be entertained by the likes of Ruppes/Pete and the rest of the usual 'Cannon fodder' you guys bring along!

We are so pleased that the doubles tournament is back in your hands again and that it is also back in its spirital home David Lloyd but......

Unfortunatly we have a clash of dates as a number of us will be away that weekend, i would not normally ask this but as this is a very important tournament to us at Thornbury and we would hate to miss it.

Would it be possible, is there any chance, could there be a remote possibility that the tournament could be moved forward or back a week so that we,at Thornbury, could fully suport this event, as we would normally do.

Please, please please see what you can do.
